Continuing K9 Nose Work® – Building Skills and Confidence
Service Description
Strengthen your teamwork and sharpen your dog’s search skills. This class continues the scent work journey for teams who have been introduced to odor and are ready to build stronger search strategies, endurance, and precision. Using NACSW principles, you’ll learn to expand your dog’s problem-solving abilities and apply skills across increasingly challenging environments. What to Expect Work with multiple search elements: containers, interiors, exteriors, and vehicles Strengthen indication and communication between dog and handler Learn effective search patterns and handling techniques Gradually introduce distractions, elevation, and varied odor placement Receive personalized feedback from an Associate NACSW instructor Who It’s For Ideal for teams who have completed Intro to Odor or equivalent experience. Whether your goal is to participate in NACSW trials or simply enjoy the teamwork and enrichment of nose work, this class helps you build a reliable, focused search team. Why Continue?
